Christmas: Second Edition

Last week we decided to celebrate Christmas a second time when we learned that Grandma Theresa, Grandpa Pat, and Uncle Jon were coming for a visit. At Christmas-time, my parents were literally snowed-in in South Dakota, and my brother Jon in Oregon was recovering from an extensive shoulder surgery, so we thought no one would be able to celebrate with us. Finding out they were coming was the best belated Christmas present for us all! We found more presents to put under the tree, stocked up on some steaks and beer and wine, and pulled out all the board games! I didn't think it was possible, but our second Christmas somehow topped our first. What a joy to have Grandma and Grandpa and a fun-loving Uncle around to play all day with the kids. It was very hard to say goodbye when it was time for them to go, but at least we have some photos to remind us of the fun :)

We eagerly waited for Uncle Jon's plane to land...

We heard lots of giggles with Grandpa Pat around...

We played lots and lots of games...

...and then we played some more games!

We opened more presents...

Mommy received a BIG present!!!

We celebrated a grace-filled Mass...

We had gun battles...

and we went for a ride on the carousel.

Even our cat seemed happy having 2 Christmases this year! :)
